This will be our first time in the Asheville area; we will drive from South Florida and would like to know your opinion, how many days do we need to ';cover'; the area?. We are interested specially in sightseeing and hiking. Thanks.

What a great list. Thanks for posting jaded24fan. My family and I will also be coming from S Florida on our way home to KY in June and want to spend a few days in the Ashville area. I%26#39;ll check out the things you listed.
Have to add Biltmore House. We especially enjoy the grounds designed by William Law Olmstead who also designed Central Park in NYC. And the gardens are magnificent. I was at Costco today and saw discount adult tickets, significant savings.
