I%26#39;m coming to Greensboro and was going to stay at the Battleground Inn, just because I had seen the place and it was convenient and inexpensive. There are no reviews on Tripadvisor, which seems odd. Does anyone know if the place is livable, and, if not, any other reasonably priced (under $100), digs in town. Thanks!

have booked Battleground Inn several times..rooms are decent size, always clean, staff friendly %26amp; helpful, and as you said convenient location...have never had a problem there...not the place to go if you are looking for an ';everything in one place'; kind of hotel, but a decent place to stay
I realize this is an old thread but I wanted to add that I just stayed at the Battleground Inn last weekend and had a nice stay. I cannot find this hotel listed on TA. The rooms are fairly small but clean and the staff was very friendly. Convenient location not too far from the Greensboro Coliseum, and UNC-Greensboro. Decent continental breakfast with yogurt and a selection of pastries/bagels. The rate was pretty darn good--around $75 (included tax) which made this a good hotel at a budget price.
