We just got back yesterday from a 2 day week-end trip to Cherokee casino--we stayed at the hotel there, which was comped, very nice as usual, comfortable bed, clean, big bathroom, 42'; hd lcd tv, and a breathtaking view on the 9th floor.
We were there for the Diamond card celebration, lots of good food, and lots of tickets drawn for cash prizes, but we were not one of the ';lucky'; ones.
I have to say and agree with some of the other posters on here, that the slot machines have really tightened up since our last visit-- we spend well over $ 1,500...and didn%26#39;t much of anything--so guess the economy is affecting the casino%26#39;s now...The place was packed with wall to wall people, you could barely walk or find a machine to play, but I think we will stick to our yearly trip out to Las Vegas, at least there we have a better chance of winning,
( more than one casino there)...so I hope all of you that do go to cherokee, have better luck than we did.

Forgot to say, that there is alot of construction going on at the casino area, building a bigger casino, parking garage, and theater, doesn%26#39;t look the same anymore.

Yes. They really have been doing a lot of construction around the casio.
