Eating options near Biltmore Inn

For our upcoming anniversary trip in June, we splurged and booked the Inn at Biltmore Estates. From what I%26#39;ve read, it looks like all the food offerings onsite are quite expensive. Are there any restaurants (including fast food) or grocery stores within close proximity of the Biltmore? We would much rather splurge on accomodations and experiences (such as segway tour) than on food. Any tips are much appreciated!

In order to get to any of the places you%26#39;ve mentioned you%26#39;ll have to drive off the Estate.

Once in Biltmore Village you have several options that are less expensive like:

McDonald%26#39;s

La Paz and another Mexican

There are 2 Ingles supermarkets fairly close by - one south on Hendersonville Road away from town and the other on Tunnel Road.

There is a huge variety and number of restaurants in downtown Asheville - about 4 miles from the Inn.

My favorite restaurant near the Biltmore is Rezah%26#39;s, which is in Biltmore Village. You can do the regular sit-down dinner, or eat at the enoteca part of the restaurant, which is less expensive and has more casual food. What I love about the place is the quality of the food and the great wine.

Rezaz%26#39;s is not cheap BUT Enoteca next door is a place to get small casual plates for much less....you can get pasta, olives, antipasto plates that will really fill you up...and of course wine!

Moose Cafe is pretty good, especially for breakfast. It is located adjacent to the Farmer%26#39;s Market, which is also a pretty nice place.

This is for Gapeach! Hope you see this as your post was a few weeks back. We go to Asheville each summer and ejoy going to TGI Friday%26#39;s. it is very near the Estate entrance. Each week night they have drinks two for one and free appetizers. They are different each night. Last summer we had hot dogs and chile one night. Gilled shrimp with Ceaser Salad, another. Little Subs, another, just to name a few. There is no limit you eat as much as you want. It is only available in the bar, which is huge, with booths and stools. We would have a large lunch (which is cheaper than dinner) and go there for drinks.) I think it begins at 3PM and ends at 6PM. Not sure about time. Hope you will try it.

Thank you all so much for your replies! I appreciate all of this useful information.
