A co worker at my husbands job told us she and her husband come to the Outer Banks every year and pay around $300.00 a week for a house rental. I have been online searching for such a deal, but have come up empty handed. My husband and I are looking to see if such a house exists. Can anyone offer any suggestions, last year we stayed in a hotel.

You know that sounds really low-can%26#39;t imagine that price or what the place looks like! Maybe it is the home of someone they know and are able to rent it for that price. You could barely do a hotel for 2 nights at that price. So to answer the question-have never heard of a place that low in price.
Ask them if if is from a rental agency and see if you can find it that way.

Perhaps they have a relative, friends or an acquaintance who gives them a deal b/c you%26#39;d be hard pressed to find a hotel for a weekend, let alone a home, for a week at that price.
Please ask her how she does it...which town...and in the summer? And let us know!:)
Do your friend like to come in January? I might cut you a deal. Summer is much more expensive than that, are they talking about 1980?
I see it%26#39;s just her and her husband? Perhaps a small house but still...haven%26#39;t come upon anything less than...about $450 in mid winter. Maybe they get a place on a military vacation list? Now, those are great prices...but they pay the price in other ways and really need family r%26amp;r.
Do say you have mentioned her house to a lot of people...(%26amp; their rent never goes up?) Anyway, tell her you%26#39;ve got a lot of people curious.
