Hi. We are staying in Blowing Rock on Saturday, 4-25. Planning to eat at Twigs or Storie street grill - your thougths and any other suggestions for dinner? Can anyone provide a good suggestion for breatkfast? We%26#39;d be interested in your thoughts on the Village Inn- we are staying there.
Breakfast and dinner recommendations
We left there yesterday--- in a snow shower!. But, warmer and nice weather is predicted for the remaining next few days.
I hope you have reservations at Twigs! They will take them. Storie Street is good also, downtown and can be very busy. Will not take reservations for less than 6. Bistro Roca is another Blowing Rock pick. About 2 blocks off the Main Street and will take reservations. The Best Cellar is great and does take reservations.
In Boone, on Main Street is Melanie%26#39;s. Great breakfast and brunch food.
There is another small place in Blowing Rock on the main street, down some stairs, near the little market and Kilwins. I just cannot think of the name. Thought it was the Blowing Rock Cafe, but cannot find that. All there is--- is a sign that points down the outdoor steps. Only open for breakfast and lunch and it is excellent. Maybe someone else can come up with the name.
I am not familiar with the Village Inn, sorry.
