mini golf or go-karts

Newcomer to the Outer Banks area. We are planning to visit late May. I was wondering if miniature golf is available or go-kart rides. for the kids. We are looking to stay centrally located perhaps in Nags Head or Kill Devil Hills.

Don%26#39;t know about gokarts, but when we visited in Late October/early November there were mini golf courses open. Our favorite place was Manteo - Festival Park was wonderful, Lost Colony grounds, Aquarium, and the town of Manteo itself.

I think there is a go kart track somewhere on Hatteras

There are lots of mini golf places in Nags Head and Kill Devil. There must be 5-8 of them.

Go karts are down at mile post 15 just north of the Outlet Mall. There is another go kart track on the beach road in Nags Head just south of the Bonnet St intersection around mile post 11. There is another go kart track on Colington Rd.

There are also go karts up at Timbuck II in Corolla.

Come on people. They are in KDH/Nags Head. Why not tell them about go karts in Illinois? Keep it to the question and not something 1 hour away. Answer the question asked.

No need for sarcasm. It is not so far off the path-perhaps the family might want to visit the Corolla lighthouse and village, the go karts are right there. When we stayed in Ocean Hill, we often drove down to Nag%26#39;s Head with the kids when we wanted a day out of the sun.

Sorry! I thought ';centrally located'; meant that they were willing to visit nearby areas if tracks were not located nearby.

There are multiple mini-golf courses. I can think offhand of one go-kart place and it%26#39;s located next to Tortuga%26#39;s Lie restaurant.

Also, new this %26#39;09 summer season there is supposed to be 2 Laser Tag facilities opening. I saw one being built next to the Dunkin%26#39; Donuts in Nags Head. Not sure where the other one is.
