Best Sunday brunch in Charlotte?

Hello, Charlotte residents -

Who has the best upscale Sunday brunch in Charlotte (around the downtown/stadium area)? Do any of the hotels have amazing buffets? It doesn%26#39;t have to be a buffet situation -- so menu service is cool, too. I%26#39;m a foodie who loves her FoodTV and good gourmet eats.

I%26#39;m going to be staying there this coming Saturday night.

This isn%26#39;t uptown, but City Tavern has an excellent Sunday brunch - two locations - Ballantyne ( Stonecrest Shopping Center) and Dilworth ( East Blvd). The Dilworth location is close to the stadium. Best wishes.

Oops- they do have an uptown location - the Hearst Tower...but I don%26#39;t know if they are open for Sunday Brunch - you%26#39;d have to call.

Now that I think about it, I am going to head back to Columbia, SC via I-77 South later that day, so anywhere south of the main part of town (including the SouthPark area) is fair game for eating, too.

Pewter Rose is on South Blvd in the Dilworth neighborhood. It was featured on Food Network%26#39;s Top Sunday Brunches. I haven%26#39;t been for Sunday brunch, but did a fabulous lunch last year. Enjoy.

The Ballantyne Resort offers an excellent ala carte menu for breakfast in a great setting. Definately high quality food and presentation.

As a side note, their holiday brunches are the best! I just went to the Thanksgiving one and it was wonderful!

I happened upon a great Sunday Brunch today while looking for a place to eat on North Tryon (in the city centre).

Check-out Zink for Good sevice, food, atmosphere and a reasonable price ($63 + tip for three).
