If you could go anywhere in NC for a weekend

Hi all,

If you had one weekend to spend in NC were would it be and why?

If you could go anywhere in NC for a weekend

Either Blowing Rock/Boone or Asheville/Hendersonville. Plenty of beautiful views and outdoor fun, the Blue Ridge Parkway, shopping, dining, good places to see and things to do.

If you could go anywhere in NC for a weekend

Either Asheville for a combination of city food and shopping with access to day hiking, or Earthshine Mountain Lodge in Brevard for a weekend of ziplining, hiking, hanging out and relaxing while someone else did the planning, cooking and cleaning.

Do you like outdoor sports? If so, I recommend the Outer Banks. I love going down there to kiteboard.
