DO NOT stay at Calhoun House Inn

The person in charge of this Inn is MONEY HUNGRY...they took $110.00 from us and did not return...we have driven by this location and the pictures on the website are nothing like the location. It is in a really bad part of Bryson City with a bad view...there IS NOT an overlook!!! Watch it before you give them your Credit Card number over the phone.

Also, their rental agreement states ';CANCELLATIONS more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before the arrival date receive a full refund for each night the suite is rented to another guest and credit toward a future night stay for each night the suite is not rented to another guest.';

You haven%26#39;t said how far in advance you cancelled the rental.

How did they not return it if you gave them your credit card number...didn%26#39;t you dispute the charge?

we%26#39;re still in the process of dispute...

I wouldn%26#39;t expect they%26#39;d have a legal leg to stand on. And I%26#39;m surprised they are willing to risk bad publicity in this slow economy just to stick it to one customer.
