I am going to be staying at holden beach in mid august this year. I was wondering is there places to shop around here or do you have to drive to myrtle or wrightsville beach to do so? My wife enjoys doing the boardwalk style shopping and i am just trying to plan ahead. Also is there any recommended sightseeing or things/places i should visit while i am there. Thanks for any info

You don%26#39;t say what you are shopping for.... There are some small shops at HB for tourist type items and essential needs. Any serious shopping would probably require a trip to Shallotte, Wilmington or Myrtle Bch.
Things to see...take the ferry from Southport to fort fisher and see the NC aquarium or battleship NC in Wilmington. The Wilmington waterfront is neat with good food. MB has a lot of tourist attractions and food. Both have websites for more info or write again about a specific place you are interested in.
