Any recommendations on the restaurant with the best crabcakes in the Atlantic Beach area? TIA

Now that I%26#39;m back from my trip, I%26#39;ll post my favorite just in case anyone else is interested. The Crab Shack%26#39;s crab cakes were about average, with too much bread crumbs and green pepper for my taste. Amos Mosquitos has a very good crabcake appetizer, but it is a little spicy. They also serve the crabcakes as an entree over pasta, though I didn%26#39;t try that. My favorite was at Kathryn%26#39;s, on Emerald Isle. The crabcakes were made of excellent lump crabmeat, with just enough filler to hold them together--delicious!

Thanks for the update! We had crabcakes at Bushwackers last year and they were absolutely horrible. More like deviled crab than a crabcake and even as a deviled crab it was subpar. I will never go back t that place as long as I visit the Crystal Coast.
