Has anyone played Goose Creek in Grandy, or Holly Ridge in Harbinger. Both are on the mainland are much lower priced from other courses in OBX. Would like to know condition, and playability, we are mainly bogey golfers or better. THANKS!

They are also smaller courses with no frills. I am no golfer so its totally boring to me in any case, but I see people over there doing it.

My husband says that both are low end, low character, overall poor playability courses, all reasons why they are so much cheaper.
He recommends Currituck Club and Nag%26#39;s Head as the best. Yes, it is more expensive, but it is a resort area and you do get a much better experience for the $$$.
I%26#39;ve never played either, but they look poor quality. If you and your friends are bogey or better golfers, I think you%26#39;ll be very disappointed.
I%26#39;ve played The Currituck Club, The Pointe and The Carolina Club. The Currituck Club is the best, but it%26#39;s gotten too rich for my liking. I really enjoy The Carolina Club and The Pointe - both are usually in excellent condition - and both have very friendly staffs.
Nags Head Links is always in great condition - it%26#39;s just too narrow for my periodic slice. I%26#39;ve never tried Sea Scape, but may in September.
Thanks for your reply!
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the help, we will probably stay away from those two courses.
cow pastures!
Carolina Club is best that I have played in OBX, Kilharmic (sp??) is nice, The Pointe is nice.
I haven%26#39;t played Currituck or Nags Head. I hear good things though.
Thanks for the advice, we%26#39;ll stick to the other courses.
