We were wanting to rent a canoe, boat or somethinhg to explore other un-inhabited islands and such. I have been searching for rental and island information, but I have found very little about the subject. Do you have any ideas and suggestions?

I don%26#39;t know if canoes are available but you can certainly rent Kayaks.
As far as exploration goes, you may want to check out Bird Island. If you do decide to travel there by non motorized transportation, it would probably be better to drive down to Ocean Isle or Sunset Beach (10-15 minutes) and start your journey there as the trip by water from Holden beach is probably about 12 miles one way.
