Around Norfolk on way to OBX- What is best way around, I664 or I64 to 168. Thanks!

As an aside, have you looked at the youtube I664 and I64 Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. They get several miles in in a few minutes in the video so the video goes very very fast. Informative commentaries...but I could only watch a little..I was getting motion sick:)

from 95 I go to Petersburg and take 460 east this will avoid most of the Norfolk traffic .

460 to 58 to 64 then on to 168.

Hi beaner711. If you Mapquest your route, you will see it recommends the following:

1. 95S to 295S (near Richmond)

2. 295S to 64E

3. 64E to 664S

4. 664S to 64W

6. 64W to 168S

7. 168S to 158E

The roads around Norfolk are much improved now. Although we used to take the 460 route fishoinc mentioned, we use the one above now because of the improved system of highways and tunnels.
