We are leaving next week for Asheville and I have reservations at Country Inns %26amp; Suites and have just seen an ad for Hilton Homewood Suites for the same price during the week and cheaper on the weekend. Also Homewood has a reception with beverage and snack in the evening. Is anyone familiar with both? They are both on Tunnel Road. I%26#39;m wondering if I should change. Would definitely be less expensive and look good on their site but I%26#39;d be willing to pay more if Country Inns is better.
Homewood Suites or Country Inns and suitesHomewood is far superior in my opinion.
Homewood Suites or Country Inns and suitesI agree - Homewood!
Thanks so much to both of you. I was able to cancel Country and get a reservation at Homewood. I appreciate your quick replies! We%26#39;re coming from rainy, nippin%26#39; CT and looking forward to the nice warm Asheville weather!
I have stayed at the Homewood on Tunnel Road multiple times. It is a great one. Very good service.
oldmubs, we are planning also to stay at the Hilton Homewood Suites, looking for a good deal, you said that you saw an ad with a good offer, can you tell me where and how much?. Everything that I foundso far is about the same price as what they have in their website.
Thanks
I had seen an ad without prices in a NC brochure and when I went to the Homewood site, they didn%26#39;t show a higher rate for the weekends until I actually clicked to reserve. That was after I had gotten the positive answers from here. So not knowing that they also had higher weekend prices, it would have been cheaper than country Inn.
We%26#39;re paying $116.10 for weekdays and $143.10 for Fri and Sat.plus tax. It%26#39;s a King Studio Suite. It only comes out to $10 more than Country for Fri night and also Sat night and it sounds like it%26#39;s worth it. Sorry if I got you excited about a deal!
Enjoy your visit in Asheville.
