Does anyone know if dry falls is still closed? We are going to be there this October.

If you are in the area go to Siver Run Falls near Cashiers. It is 4 miles south of 64 on highway 107. There will be a pullout on the left. Easy 200 yard hike to falls. Real pretty waterfall.

Try going to Courthouse Falls as well. Short easy hike, great waterfall. Just pray for rain to get the falls flowing...

Just to update, was in Highlands last week and the Dry Falls area is still closed. With all the rain, there were waterfalls to be seen everywhere on the side of the road. Cullasaja Falls on 64W towards Franklin was spectacular last Thursday 3/26.

There was an article in the local paper that Dry Falls is on schedule to be opened back up this summer. Here%26#39;s hoping!
