I have it narowed down to the Hilton Garden Inn or the Ramada for a 3 night stay later this month. Which would you choose and why? I have not been to the outer banks in 20 years so I am not familar. Thanks!
Help me decide please
The Ramada has been up dated over the years, they allow pets on the first floor in case that makes a difference one way or the other. The Hilton is 3 years old and much nicer inside and they have a fishing pier their guests can use or sit out on. I would imagine the Hilton is more expensive. Meridian 42, High Cotton BBQ, Quiznos and Duck Donuts are all in walking distance from the Hilton.
Help me decide please
Thank you soooo much for your help. Is there anything within walking distance of the Ramada? Also, do they both have a lounge to have a cocktail (would never drink and drive) in the evening before bed?
They used to have a restaurant/lounge inside with a patio bar called ';Peppercorns';. I believe it%26#39;s still there. There is all sorts of stuff within walking distance or a very small cab fare.
Both have a bar and restaurant in them. Across from Ramada is Miller%26#39;s restaurant and up the street is Burger King with a Wendy%26#39;s near it.
Thanks! The Hilton%26#39;s website was very vague, I could not tell if they had a bar/lounge or not.
The Ramada is my pick. The beach is very large compared to the Hilton Beach. They are within walking distance to several restaurants-Pizza right across the street, Mama Quans, Food Dudes(MP9), and Kill Devil Grill. They have an indoor and outdoor bar.
The hotel location is between Jockeys Ridge and the Wright Memorial.
If you choose the Hilton eat at the Rundown Cafe (across the street). It%26#39;s very good.
Thanks, you guys are great!!!
