We are vacationing in South Nags Head the first week of June and are planning out our entire family budget. I would like to know what a gallon of milk, dozen of eggs and gas prices are there now and where to get the best deals. Also, what is the best pizza delivery place.

Groceries in S. Nags Head
Food Lion prices are about the same as on the Mainland you shouldn%26#39;t find prices that much higher here unless you use the smaller stores if you arrive on the week end the stores are always crowded so expect long lines we usually bring enough for a day or two to avoid this. or you can go over to Manteo to get grocery%26#39;s they are off the beach and less crowded.
Can%26#39;t help with the Pizza but I did get some from Yellow Submarine that was good .

Food Lions are good, fill up on gas before you cross Currituck sound it get higher on the islands. Down Highway 12 it can be 25-30 cents higher than the maimland.
